About
Emmanuelle Perriard began embroidery in 2014 when she discovered the Lesage house. This art becomes obvious to her: the noise of the hook through the fabric, the clatter of the beads and the fluidity of the gesture captivate her. She was introduced to it in Lunéville and Lyon and has since come alive in the infinity of creation by creating unique jewellery, committed paintings, testing materials.
Through its fluid, repeated, harmonized and almost automated gestures, embroidery allows Emmanuelle Perriard to tell an infinite number of stories and create a bubble of escape through the beads, sequins, tubes and threads attached to the material. . In this world where mass production is omnipresent, it returns to a softer rhythm to which the work of the hand lends itself perfectly.
