Fanny Pilet was born in 1975 in Vevey. She trained in art restoration at Atelier Saint-Dismas SA and Atelier Roman while at the same time following art history courses at the University of Lausanne. In 2012, she founded with Alain Besse an art conservation and restoration company, Sinopie Sàrl, of which she took over the management alone in 2021.

Fanny Pilet works for the preservation, conservation and restoration of objects and property: statues, paintings, murals or monuments. With her team, she restores their letters of nobility to the works of yesteryear. It carries out investigations, appraisals and stratigraphic surveys on both ancient heritage objects and modern architecture.
