Anita Porchet was only twelve years old when her godfather, himself an engraver-enameller, introduced her to this age-old art. Trained in enamel by Pierre Schneeberger, she studied at the Higher School of Applied Arts in La Chaux-de-Fonds where she obtained her CFC in 1984 with an engraving and enamel option, then at the Cantonal School of Art. of Lausanne where she obtained her certificate of artistic aptitude in 1985.

Anita Porchet continues her practical training with the Geneva enamellers May Mercier, Suzanne Rohr and Elisabeth Mottu-Juillerat. Since 1995, it has collaborated with recognized companies in the arts and crafts such as Patek Philippe for the creation of the Aube sur le lac pocket watch made on the occasion of the company’s 175th anniversary; Vacheron Constantin for whom she reproduced the ceiling of the Opéra Garnier in Paris; Piaget but also in fields other than watchmaking such as Hermès International or Chanel. She travels, exhibitions and demonstrations of enameling in Japan, Florence, New York, Paris, as well as in Shanghai. She receives several distinctions for her fundamental role, her perseverance and her independence in the revitalization of a discipline in danger of disappearing. Sought after by many brands, Anita Porchet has never made any concessions on her independent status.
