Eric Rihs was born in 1958 in Yverdon. In 1981, he obtained his pottery CFC. Three years later, he created his own workshop in Émibois before opening, in 1989, in the same place, a gallery devoted to contemporary ceramics. He regularly organizes exhibitions by guest artists. He also collaborates in the production of ceramic pieces for international exhibitions.

By pushing the door of the workshop, one enters a universe of whiteness. We discover the potter’s towers and kilns. The material is invasive there as it undergoes transformations and is enriched by the successive touches and layers applied by the potter’s hand: a rich alchemy for products that delight and surprise (mainly tableware and other porcelain objects).
