Passionate about fossils, Renaud Roch trained to become a paleontologist. Alongside his studies, he learned techniques for preparing fossils and making molds through various internships. He worked on the A16 excavations before becoming a preparator and mold maker for the Jurassica Museum, which has one of the few paleontological preparation laboratories in Switzerland.
