Originally from Valais, Fabien Robert completed his apprenticeship as an upholsterer in Friborg and obtained his CFC in 1982. Then he developed his know-how through a form of companionship with various master upholsterers, notably with a Meilleur Ouvrier de France and René Steiner. , antique dealer in Bussigny. He opened his own workshop in Prilly in 2010.

Fabien Robert has a passion for 17th and 18th century furniture, even though he was once interested in Art Deco at Robert Hirt. He is a member and founder of the AVMA - Association Vaudoise des Métiers d’Art.

He exhibits regularly in fairs and was awarded for the decoration of stands at the Salon des Antiquaires in Lausanne. On the other hand, it organizes practical courses in furniture makeovers (style or contemporary).
