« Painting a decor is my passion. It gives a dimension, a life to something flat. It is, for me, the trigger of a creative necessity. »

Lola Sacier did her apprenticeship as a house painter at Correvon SA, a job she considers “a challenge of strength”. But her creative sensibility is expressed in decorative painting. In a theatre, in a museum, in private homes, in shops or in the public space, she creates trompe-l’oeil, waxed concrete, faux wood, imitation marble and patinas.

« Decorative painting is a bit like cooking. We invent, we mix ingredients and we try. It is sometimes missed but always interesting. »

Apart from her projects, Lola Sacier has been collaborating for several years with several specialized freelancers, as well as with the Image Factory in several areas such as decor painting, image design, graphic creations or even scenography. She also gives introductory courses in decorative painting in the training course for house painters preparing for their federal master’s degree.
