Cédric Vichard completed an apprenticeship as a cabinetmaker in 1989. Attracted by raw and authentic materials, new substances or lost techniques, he quickly developed his taste for aesthetics and, with perseverance, made his way to his true passion: fine cabinetmaking. He opened his studio in 1993.
He received first prize in the "Holz 92" competition in Basel thanks to his travel writing desk, then bronze medalist at the Arts-Sciences-Lettres in Paris in 1998.
Enter Cédric Vichard’s studio and discover the transformation of materials, constructive concepts where creations as diverse as cases for watches, furniture or interior fittings are developed. Cédric Vichard also works there with metal powders transformed into FullMetal coatings which allow him to decorate his cases or furniture.
