From her training at the Center for Vocational Education in Vevey, Francine Maret broadened her knowledge through internships with various master saddlers. She set up on her own in 2011 and makes to measure, creates, repairs and restores. The only professional equestrian saddler in Valais, Francine Maret perpetuates a profession that has become rare in her saddlery in Martigny.

Equally at ease in the industrial and equestrian fields, Francine Maret works with several raw materials such as linen, hemp, leather, PVC tarpaulin, synthetic fabrics and imitation leather. Since 2015, she has been a lecturer for the training of apprentice leather and textile artisans.
