Homo Faber - Crafting a more human future - A unique, different and unprecedented exhibition dedicated to the quintessence of European Crafts

Homo Faber is an international cultural exhibition dedicated to European craftsmanship, which has been designed to promote Craftsmanship, strengthen their recognition and the visibility of Master Craftsmen.

In September 2018, the Michelangelo Foundation will offer an unprecedented spotlight on the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, a setting with spaces as magnificent as they are unexpected. This cultural center occupies most of the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice.

This exhibition will bring together a wide variety of disciplines, from High Jewelery to bespoke bicycles, whether rare skills or some of the most emblematic achievements of European craftsmanship today.

Art masters will be present throughout the duration of the exhibition, which will allow visitors to see them exercise their talents. The exhibition, designed by a team of renowned designers, curators and handpicked architects, will be installed in the exceptional setting of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini.
