The Michelangelo Foundation unveils the names of the Swiss craftsmen selected for Homo Faber, this prestigious exhibition dedicated to the quintessence of European crafts, in Venice in September.

Homo Faber will also honor a great Swiss designer from the Art Deco period: Jean Dunand, born May 20, 1877 in Lancy, near Geneva, and died June 7, 1942 in Paris. He practiced the arts of sculpture, painting, brassware and lacquer. He is one of the greatest Art Deco creators and has created over a period of almost fifty years more than one thousand two hundred works.
Two Swiss watchmakers are also scheduled: Jaeger-LeCoultre and Vacheron Constantin.
