The National Institute of Crafts is delighted with the creation of the Swiss Association of Crafts (ASMA), fruit of the dynamics of the European Days of Crafts!
Having attracted more than 15,000 visitors this year, the European Days of Crafts (JEMA) in Switzerland confirmed the growing and real interest of the Swiss population for crafts. Leaving the City of Geneva in 2012 thanks to the support of Vacheron Constantin, the JEMA in Switzerland extended to the canton of Vaud in 2014, then to those of Jura and Geneva in 2015. They were joined in 2016 by the canton of Neuchâtel . Other cantons have already expressed their interest in taking part in the JEMA 2017. This annual event having acquired a considerable scale over the years, the various actors have committed to consolidating the coordination of the JEMA for the years to come by creating the Swiss Association of Crafts (ASMA). This structure will thus make it possible to defend, promote and encourage the development and richness of crafts in Switzerland.
