The craftsman in residence - Fanny Pilet and Alain Besse, art restorers in Vevey (VD)

From Tuesday September 8 to Sunday September 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Arcades Métiers d’art Switzerland, Platform 10 in Lausanne

Fanny Pilet and Alain Besse work for the preservation, conservation and restoration of objects and goods of all sizes such as statues, murals, monuments. With their collaborators, including Elena de la Rubia, curator and art restorer, they wield scalpels and brushes to restore their letters of nobility to works of yesteryear. They also carry out documentation and expertise work.

From Tuesday September 8th to Sunday September 13th, Fanny Pilet and Alain Besse, at the arcades Métiers d’art Suisse, will reveal to you the techniques that allow the safeguarding of movable and immovable heritage. They will work on old painted furniture, paintings, woodwork and a sculpture. Sinopie Sàrl is a workshop active in the preservation, conservation and restoration of art and heritage assets of all sizes.
