From Tuesday August 4 to Sunday August 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Arcades Métiers d’art Switzerland, Platform 10 in Lausanne
Filled with papers, canvas, leathers and old machines, the workshop is equipped to meet all the ideas and projects of bookbinding and cardboard. Collaborations with communication and event companies lead to original and unique creations. Often commissioned by institutions, the workshop also works to preserve heritage.
“The dlignes craft binding workshop is a place dedicated to the glory of paper, a laboratory for experimentation and both traditional and contemporary creations. »
From Tuesday August 4 to Sunday August 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tessa Wymann, craft binder, and Michelle Roux from the dlignes workshop in Vevey (VD), invite you to a laboratory dedicated to the glory of paper where collaboration is the key word. The duo will produce a book-object with the linocutist and resident at dlignes, Gaëlle Garrocq. Through this collaborative project around the crafts of the future, the thread of their reflections will unfold throughout the construction of a leporello (and perhaps after 6 days of printing and folding, will be- the longest in the world!).
