They have gold in their hands: spotlight on our artisans with rare trades

On the occasion of the Days of Crafts, the public is invited, from March 31 to April 2, to discover heritage know-how. Meeting with three craftsmen from La Côte.

Model maker of bottled boats, dial maker or basket maker. So many trades that you don't come across on every street corner. In order to make these professions more visible and to see these ancestral know-how continue, the arts and crafts day highlights, for a weekend, craftsmen and craftsmen from the region.

Initiated in France, the European Days of Crafts (JEMA) were born in the canton of Vaud in 2014. For this 8th edition, the cultural affairs department of the State of Vaud offers free discovery of 42 professions of art. The majority of the demonstrations will take place in the workshops of the creators (on registration), while some will take place at the castle of Morges (without registration).
