Tribute to Quitterie Ithurbide, ceramic artist in Lausanne

See by touch

In tribute to Quitterie Ithurbide, whose sudden disappearance affects us, we would like to salute his commitment to the various actions to promote crafts that the ASMA has deployed in recent months. Thanks to his talent and his enthusiasm, we were able to cope with the hasty closing of the arcades in March and to exist digitally, his very beautiful residency project being transformed into one of the very first "From the studio": a relief interpretation of one of the watercolors by Egon Schiele presented in the temporary exhibition of the Cantonal Museum of Fine Arts. A first step that led to the creation of a series of three bas-reliefs exhibited as soon as the arcades reopen in June, thus allowing us to show the public all the diversity of crafts and to reopen in style!

Thank you for the quality of the exchanges, thank you for the unforgettable visit of the workshop, thank you for the precious participation.
