Typically Swiss - 10th exhibition of cut-out papers

10th Swiss exhibition of cut paper, Musée du Pays-d’Enhaut and the Swiss Paper Cut Center in Château-d’Oex, from December 1, 2022 to February 26, 2023.

The Musée du Pay-d’Enhaut has been chosen to exhibit in French-speaking Switzerland the work of the winners of this 10th Swiss exhibition.

Transposed to Château-d’Oex, the temporary exhibition is closer to the French-speaking public and appropriates the new layout of the museum premises, enlarged to allow the highlighting of the treasures entrusted to it.

The cut-outs selected this year can be compared with the old works of J.-J. Hauswirth (1809-1871) and L. Saugy (1871-1953), precursors of what will become an art in its own right.

In the ASMA directory, find among others:

Marie-Laure Beun, paper cutter in Saint-Triphon

Nicole Dayen Schütz, paper cutter in Troistorrents

Doris Henchoz, traditional cutter at L’Etivaz

Corinne Karnstädt, cutter at La Tine

Ernst Oppliger, paper cutter in Meikirch

Marc Schweizer, paper cutter in Zweisimmen
