Vaud: the Canton of Vaud presents its program for JEMA 2017

Press conference, Thursday March 2, taxidermist workshop of the Cantonal Museum of Zoology

The press conference was held this morning in the workshop of André Keiser, taxidermist of the Cantonal Museum of Zoology in the presence of State Councilors Pascal Broulis and Anne-Catherine Lyon and Nyon syndic Daniel Rosselat.

The Vaudois program of the European Days of Crafts was unveiled and commented on this occasion with the participation of six craftsmen from different fields who will be present at this press conference: Nathalie Delhaye, stone sculptor, Lewis Hofmann, blacksmith art, Anita Porchet, dial enamel artist, André Keiser, taxidermist, Christophe Kiss, puppet sculptor and Laurent Golay, skateboard manufacturer.

The JEMA are a unique opportunity to discover artistic professions through privileged encounters with those who practice them within the very places of creation. Of the 42 possibilities offered by the Vaud program this year, there are 22 new participations. There are a total of 76 craftsmen who are delighted to interact with a large audience at the beginning of spring.
