Enamelers create or reproduce designs using enamels, a material from the glass family, which they carefully prepare to obtain a fine enamel powder. They use different enameling techniques such as champlevé, cloisonné, grisaille, plique-à-jour, and miniature painting to decorate objects made of copper, gold, silver, etc. by bonding the enamel to the metal during firing.
They are able to produce dials in small series or to design and follow a project from the first sketch to the final realization of the enameled design. They apply the production processes in their work environment by referring to the quality standards required by the sector.
