Enamellers create or reproduce patterns using enamels, a material from the glass family, which they carefully prepare to obtain a fine enamel powder. They use different enamelling techniques such as champlevé, cloisonné, grisaille, plique-à-jour or even miniature painting, to decorate objects in copper, gold, silver, etc. by the bonding of the enamel to the metal during the passage in the oven.
They are able to produce dials in small series or to design and follow a project from the first sketch to the final creation of the enameled design. They apply production processes in their working environment by referring to the quality standards required by the sector.
