The jeweler creates jewelry adorned with precious or fine stones. He plans the location in which the stone will be highlighted, drills the setting and then mills it to accommodate the stone.
In creating a watch, the master jeweler must adapt to the constraints imposed by the functional nature of the watch by working extremely thin layers of gold, while respecting the stones and the metal. Patience and concentration are essential to best welcome these stones and allow them to shine with radiant brilliance. The master crimper brings a soul to the creations by perfecting their personality.
Training as a jeweler is acquired through apprenticeship in a company or full-time school with obtaining a CFC. Duration 4 years. Improvements are possible.
