As a child, Melody Droz dreamed of being a stylist. She likes to touch textiles, to smell them. At the end of her studies in various sewing schools, she set up on her own and created her own clothing brand, Melody Marie. Her passion materializes: she likes to see a garment being built in her hands, which arises from her choice of fabrics and accessories, and applies her techniques and know-how.

Melody Droz pushes one day by chance the door of Proximité, a boutique workshop located in Nyon. In 2017, she took over this workshop and turned it into a concept store where sewing machines, fabrics and bobbins of all kinds rub shoulders.
