About
Since obtaining his master's degree in restoration and conservation, Augustin Duc divides his time between the Museum of Musical Automata in Seewen and his freelance work in St-Ursanne. Specializing in technical, scientific, and horological heritage, as well as metalwork, he regularly collaborates with art restorer Amalita Bruthus and works on heritage objects throughout Switzerland.
Passionate about the mounting and enhancement of historical objects, Augustin Duc creates exhibition supports, pedestals and hanging systems for museums, such as those for the exhibition "The Bible of Moutier-Grandval" at the Jura Museum of Art and History in 2025. He also restores sculptures, both indoors and outdoors, and takes care to combine conservation, aesthetics and safety, while remaining discreet and precise in his interventions.
