About

Her business school diploma in hand, Monique Duplain studied ceramics at the Swiss School of Ceramics in Chavannes-près-Renens and obtained her CFC at the School of Applied Arts in Vevey. Various internships in Switzerland, France and England, at the School of Decorative Arts in Geneva as well as a study trip to Korea and Japan complete his career.

Monique Duplain moved to Allaman in 1972. Her ceramics are the subject of numerous exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad and enter into several public collections such as those of the Ariana Museum or that of the Contemporary Art Fund of the city of Geneva. Monique Duplain participates in the biennials of the Association of Swiss Ceramists of which she is a member. In 1974, his work was awarded in Basel, then in Geneva in 1976.
