About
At the end of the 1980s, after various unconvincing internships, Lewis Hofmann did not find the place of apprentice ironworker he dreamed of. At least in Switzerland. It was on Caucasian soil that he left to do his apprenticeship as an escalatist-rampist from 1994 to 1998, with Temour Sulranishivili. Back in Switzerland, he worked for two years for the Iron Museum in Vallorbe.
Lewis Hofmann opened his workshop first in La Sarraz, then in Premier in 2012. He designs and produces interior and exterior fittings in private homes and collective or public establishments such as the Riponne Tunnel island in Lausanne, the Château de La Sarraz or the Riffelalp hotel in Zermat.
