Hervé Iseli trained in lithography before moving towards carpentry and cabinetmaking. At the end of his training, he obtained a scholarship for crafts created by the Syndicat Romand des Antiquaires. In this context, he went to Paris and trained at the Society of Expertise and Restoration of Works of Art. In 2002, back in Switzerland, he set up on his own in a restoration workshop.

After taking over the restoration workshop of Félix Bélaz in 2002, Hervé Iseli took over that of Florian Richard in 2018. He offers restorations of marquetry as well as solid wood furniture. Pad or synthetic varnish, beeswax finish, faux marble, paint or patina: none of these techniques hold any secrets for him.
