About
After a course combining ceramics and drawing, Sophie Meylan turned to the profession of enameller in watchmaking. She trained on the job at Stern Créations where she learned the enameling of plain dials, as well as the Limoges white grisaille technique. She then set up on her own and developed her know-how by drawing inspiration from the techniques specific to her initial training.
Sophie Meylan also uses guilloché, champlevé or even engraved dial enamelling. Thanks to the particular attention paid to each stage of the enameling and to a high level of finish, it obtains high quality creations of which the big names in watchmaking such as Romain Gauthier, Piaget or Delaneau are fond.
