« I like to transform a raw material into a unique object that beautifies our daily lives while leaving room for the subtleties of the material. »

About

Nathalie Baumeler and Marie-Prune Reymond Yoshikawa welcome you to discover their passion for clay in all its forms.

Nathalie began her training at the Fine Arts school in Sierre before continuing it at the Applied Arts school in Vevey where she met Marie-Prune.

« The gesture, the imprint on the earth, and the transformation through fire are a fascination and a playground for me. I love using the freedom that ceramics offers, allowing me to move from everyday objects to more free-spirited and experimental pieces. »

After studying Applied Arts in Vevey, Marie-Prune traveled to China, Korea, and Japan to explore the secrets of ceramics. Upon her return, she and Nathalie founded the workshop Les Pieds dans le Plat in the Vallée de Joux, where they offer classes for children and adults as well as selling their creations.
