Viviane Schlatter trained in ceramics at the School of Applied Arts in Vevey. She then completed internships in Switzerland and abroad and worked for various workshops before opening her own workshop, Espace argile, in 1996 in Trélex. She is a member of the Association of Swiss Ceramists and Naori Switzerland. His works are exhibited in numerous exhibitions.

In her workshop, Viviane Schlatter likes to create and display everyday objects. She draws inspiration from shapes, structures and materials to play on the contradictions of the material, somewhere on the border between the solid and the fragile. In parallel with her creative practice, she runs workshops for expression and creativity around the earth.
