The marks that time leaves on works of art are the field of investigation of Amalita Bruthus. Monumental piece or masterpiece, all can benefit from his know-how. After meticulous scientific and historical analysis, Amalita Bruthus dissects the objects she restores in order to unlock their secrets. Materials, shapes, colors, origin, author: no element is left to chance. Once involved in this intimacy, it is the turn of her technical mastery to enter the scene. She restores the objects and, thanks to the care provided, the beauty of yesteryear resurfaces. Among the various works that have passed through his expert hands, there is in particular the fountain of the Sauvage de Delémont. Muscles damaged by years of pollution and by synthetic paints have regained their strength and vigor, faded hues and drawn features have gained new radiance and, thus, the sculpture recovers its elegance and stature.
