This prize rewards the collaboration between a craftsman and a designer.
If the man seems rather discreet and prefers to dress in dark shades, this is not the case for the upholsterer. For his creations, Vladimir Boson likes bright colors, fabrics with bold patterns and atypical shapes. His exceptional know-how allows him to not back down from any technical challenge. His thirst for freedom and his taste for sharing led him to collaborate with many artists and designers, like Denis Savary. The latter, who brilliantly masters both drawing and staging, likes to combine different worlds, as evidenced by Balla, this set of sculptures born at the crossroads between an Indian tipi, a whirling dervish costume and a saucer. flying. In this fruitful collaboration, we thus find the pop universe of the upholsterer and the deep research work of the artist.
