Vaud

The JEMA Vaud are run by the Cultural Affairs Service (SERAC) of the Canton of Vaud attached to the Department of Culture, Infrastructure and Human Resources (DCIRH) .

Since 2014, these Days, which are totally free for the public, have allowed craftsmen and artisans from Vaud to pass on their passion as well as the secrets of their trade within the framework of a three-day event taking place every spring. In 2022, 2,000 people took advantage of the program concocted for the 7th edition of the event. In 2023, 3,500 curious men and women flocked to the 8th European Days of Crafts (JEMA).

As the event could not take place in 2021 due to the pandemic, SERAC entrusted videographer Elise Gyger with the task of producing a series of video capsules to illustrate the prevented programming.
