Beveller

The beveler is involved in the high-end finishing of watch components. His precise technique consists of chamfering the angles between the surfaces of the parts to form a polished bevel, thus creating a subtle play of light and reflections. This operation, called chamfering, reveals the craftsmanship excellence and beauty of mechanical movements.

Beveling is a watchmaking specialty that requires patience, attention to detail, and perfect mastery of tools. It is the result of extensive training and extensive experience. Beveling often works in conjunction with other prestigious watchmaking professions.
