In 2025, the European Days of Crafts will celebrate their 10th anniversary in the canton of Vaud. 10 years of privileged meetings, 10 years of constant renewal, 10 years of a rare event that places exchange with exceptional craftswomen and craftsmen at the heart of its concerns.
This year's Vaud edition lives up to its promises: it offers 45 opportunities for meetings (including 15 new ones), introductory workshops for children in the arts and crafts, the participation of 3 cultural spaces, 2 vocational schools and a training centre. The JEMA highlights the intimate links between culture and vocational training.
On the occasion of this 10th edition, let's for once place the emphasis on its audience. Our statistics show that, in recent years, nearly 50% of you continue to discover the JEMA for the first time; that 54% of you are guided by curiosity for traditional know-how, but also remarkably innovative ones; that 21% of you are keen to preserve rare or endangered crafts, and that 16% of you come out of professional interest. Because the European Days of Crafts are a unique opportunity to talk about the gestures of the crafts and training courses with generous craftsmen and women with a wealth of experience.
The craftsmen and women of JEMA 2025 have agreed to open the door to their workshop and their knowledge to you. We can only invite you to discover them and hope that your curiosity will enrich you.
