Artistic Craft Days
Sensitive to the preservation and transmission of craftsmanship know-how for the preservation of our heritage, Zurich Assurances is proud to be associated with the European Days of Crafts. We share with our 55,000 employees these values of expertise and excellence linked to these emblematic professions.
Since 1872, we have been attached to tradition and the quality of heritage, while being aware of the potential for innovation and creativity of these professions, as well as the professional prospects they offer to young people in our region.
Just like these craftsmen, we base our actions on reliability, trust and risk management.

The hand comes right after the thought. It allows the immediate materialization, tactile, practical, fast, sketched, rough or sensual, restrained or free, of the fulgurance of an idea. Then come gestures, techniques, learning, trials, frustrations and finally successes! Without craftsmen, our world would be less beautiful. Through their know-how, they grate our abstract concepts, polish our ideas, embellish our intuitions, breathe concrete creativity and give life to useful or not, but always unique objects. They transmit knowledge, push innovation and offer, over time, a bit of magnificent immortality. Widen your eyes, touch the tanned and colored leathers, touch the chiseled metals of the goldsmiths, breathe in the smell of wood shavings and feel the beating heart of the mechanisms. The Free Ports and Warehouses of Geneva participate in the opening of the doors of the European Days of Crafts and invite you to dream, inspire you, project yourself and dare to be creative!

The participants are committed to this project to share and transmit their crafts that they bring to life with passion and talent.
Without their investment, their desire to bring people together and their trust in MAG, none of this would have been possible. May they be honored by this present programme.
Faithful to their mission of education and transmission, cultural institutions and professional training centers have invested the JEMA with their experience and unfailing support.
A big thank you to the Committee for the confidence shown and to the MAG secretariat who imagined and organized this event with courage and audacity for the good of crafts.
A special thank you to Antonin Dumont for the quality of his texts and to Elsa Monteiro for the general coordination of the project.
We warmly thank our partners as well as the Foundation for Professional and Continuing Education (FFPC) for their investment without which the event could not have taken place.
We would like to thank all the suppliers who put their skills and expertise at the service of fine crafts:
